   ye the liquid in the bottle is called grip solvent. What it does is when it’s poured on the outside of the tape activates the stickyness! So the grip will then glue to the tape. Hope this helps

   Go to your hardware store and buy some low-odour varsol. that works well.

   you probably didnt clean the shaft after you took the old tape off, watch my video, it shows it closer, and a little easier.
