http://janson.com If you travel from Chur in the Grisons towards St. Moritz, you will arrive at the Albula Valley. On the valley floor is Alvaneu Bad, an 18-hole par 72 golf course. At 5910 meters the course is very long for the region. The paths mainly run alongside the Albula stream. The first nine holes were built in 1997 and the second nine opened in 2002. This very untypical course for Switzerland was designed in two stages by the architect Mario Verdiere. The very wide fairways are extremely well tended. White sand glimmers from the enormous bunkers. It is almost like playing in Florida. The greens are oversized and can be easily read. The courses design and generosity resemble American proportions. Both newcomers and advanced players can have a good time on Alvaneu.

http://janson.com In all probability, the Abama holiday resort is currently one of the most ambitious tourist projects in the whole of the Canary Islands. Surrounding the generously laid out golf course, holiday homes and private homes are soon to be built. Today, the starting point is at the 5-star Hotel Abama, which was opened in Autumn 2005 together with the neighbouring golf course of the same name.
http://janson.com Fuerteventura, previously better known as a holiday destination for beach lovers, decided to follow the trend and in 2003 built the first golf course on the island. Currently, the Fuerteventura Golf Course remains the only one. This will soon change, however, as there are plans underway to include three golf courses in the travel catalogue of this holiday destination by 2007. The course is set in the middle of a gigantic resort project. Villas and bungalows are for sale on the boundaries of the course, the heart of which is the 5-Star Hotel Elba Palace Golf. The guest house was designed in the traditional Canary Islands style. At the same time the luxuriously appointed building serves as a clubhouse.
